“I am a daughter/caretaker for my mom in her 90s. Social isolation has been hard. Mom can’t see the computer screen and has difficulty holding a conversation on the phone. Her friendship group was a source of love, laughter, and well-being. Mom fell, had to go to emergency, she was ok. I could not be by her side. When I picked her up she was smiling ear to ear. All the people, all the face-to-face contact with nurses and doctors, elated her. It did wonders for her spirit.”
