DOCENT/GALLERY GUIDE VOLUNTEERS
The California Historical Society seeks volunteer docents to support its current exhibitions on an ongoing basis. Help us share California stories with gallery visitors, adult tour groups, school children, and others.If you are interested in becoming a CHS docent/gallery guide, please download and fill out our docent application and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.

The California Historical Society engages a wide audience and we depend upon the generous assistance of volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the educational programs and public events we offer to members, historians, neighbors, and the general public.

The California Historical Society does not currently have a regular internship program. Individuals interested in pursuing possible internship opportunities with the California Historical Society may contact firstname.lastname@example.org and should please include the following:

- A cover letter explaining your area(s) of study; your availability; the specific educational goal(s) you wish to achieve; and the requirements for your sponsoring institution (if any).
